Barriers to Reentry for the Formerly Incarcerated
The House Judiciary Committee, Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security will hold a hearing on Wednesday, June 9 to explore barriers to reentry.
The hearing, “Collateral Consequences of Criminal Convictions: Barriers to Reentry for the Formerly Incarcerated,” will be in held in 2141 Rayburn House Office Building at 10:15 and is open to the public.
Witnesses include: Marc Mauer, Executive Director, The Sentencing Project; Maurice Emsellem, Policy Co-Director, National Employment Law Project; Calvin Moore, DC Employment Justice Center; Richard A. Lewis, Senior Manager, ICF International; Pamela K. Lattimore, Ph.D., Principal Scientist, RTI International; and Richard T. Cassidy, Director, Hoff Curtis.
