Julie Stewart, president of FAMM, will join experts in the fields of public health, social workers, treatment, and criminal justice reform at “New Directions: A Public Health and Safety Approach to Drug Policy,” a one-day conference cosponsored by the Drug Policy Alliance, the National Association of Social Workers, the National Black Police Association, and Physicians for Human Rights.
The conference will take place on June 17th in Rayburn B-338 in Washington, DC. The conference is free and open to the public. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
