I am thrilled to let FAMM's Florida members know that I will be speaking at two state events in September.
The first event is titled, "What Is The War On Drugs Costing Us?," and is being cosponsored by the ACLU of Florida, November Coalition and FAMM on September 11, 2009. A reception will begin at 6 p.m. with the discussion starting at 7 p.m., and the event is free! It will be held at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg Campus, Florida Center for Teachers - Room 118, 599 Second Street South, St. Petersburg, Florida. The second event is the 2nd Annual Alternatives to Incarceration Council on September 25, 2009. It will be held at the Feathers Ballroom, 4343 South State Road 7, Davie, Florida 33314, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. It costs $35 to register for the event.
